Salsa by the Sea invites you to immerse yourself in the magic of sunset dancing in Puerto Rico. Held beachside at dusk, our salsa class offers a romantic and immersive experience. Under the golden glow of the setting sun, our experienced instructors will guide you through the art of salsa dancing, renowned for its passion and sensuality. You’ll synchronize your movements with pulsating rhythms, master leading or following, and express yourself fluently through dance.

Tailored for all levels, with a focus on beginners, our class promises enjoyment and challenge. Whether you aim to dazzle your partner, refine your skills, or simply savor a memorable beachside evening, our salsa class delivers.

What sets us apart is our breathtaking setting along Puerto Rico’s stunning coastline, offering unrivaled views of the sunset and Caribbean Sea. Surrounded by natural splendor, with the gentle sea breeze and rhythmic waves, you’ll be transported to a realm where dance and nature intertwine seamlessly. Join us as we lead you through the basics of Salsa, alongside turn patterns, and the fundamentals of Merengue and Bachata. 

From novice to seasoned dancers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Location: “Playa El Último Trolley” at the José Celso Barbosa Park Stutue, FX22+CM3, Av. Las Américas, San Juan, 00911 

Participants will meet at the statue and then walk to the beach for the class. Latecomers should stand with their backs to the statue, and walk right to the roundabout by the beach with palm trees and shade. There, they’ll find us. Please note: booking this experience is at your own risk as it’s outdoors. In case of rain, the class will be canceled, and refunds issued.

What will you and your guests do?

• Water
• Mosquito repellent
• Something to cover up in case it gets chilly when the sun goes down.
• Comfortable shoes (avoid flip-flops).
• Breathable clothes: Since salsa dancing can be quite energetic, it’s important to wear clothes that are breathable and allow you to move freely. Choose lightweight materials that will keep you cool and comfortable. 
• Phones are fully charged and with enough memory for taking photos and videos

• Suitable for Ages 6+
• All ages are welcome at our Sunset Salsa Beach Class. While our minimum age for participation is 6 years, children aged 5 and under can join free of charge. We believe in accommodating families fully so everyone can enjoy our offerings. If you have a child aged 5 or under who’d like to join in the fun, please feel free to bring them along. For any queries regarding your child’s participation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
• No experience or dance partner is necessary 
• All ages are welcome at our Sunset Salsa Beach Class. While our minimum age for participation is 6 years, children aged 5 and under can join free of charge. We believe in accommodating families fully so everyone can enjoy our offerings. If you have a child aged 5 or under who’d like to join in the fun, please feel free to bring them along. For any queries regarding your child’s participation, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
• Please dress appropriately for the occasion, such as swimwear, shorts, maxi dresses, hats, and don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent. 
• Keep in mind that this location is open to the public, and you might find an audience admiring what you’ve learned.
• Parking is free; however, using Uber as your means of transportation is highly recommended.

Follow the instructions in “Free Cancellation, Return, and Refund Information” to cancel or request a refund.

• Full refund if canceled up to 3 days before experience start time, or within 24 hours of booking made more than 48 hours before start time. 
• 80% refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours before start time.
• Single classes/packages are for individual use only; not shareable.
• Refunds issued if minimum traveler requirement isn’t met.
